About the Expo

Nestled in the northern part of Taylor, Texas, Williamson County Expo Center rests on 95 acres of former Blackland Prairie farm land. Throughout history, the communities from surrounding area relied heavily on the dark clay and rich fertile lands for production agriculture. Williamson County Expo Center is home the Annual Taylor Rodeo. The Annual Taylor Rodeo celebrates the rich tradition and heritage of "The Great American Cowboy." Taylor, TX is the hometown of the legendary rodeo cowboy and National Rodeo Hall of Famer, Bill Pickett.

The facility is a central location for a variety of sporting, spectator, and recreational events for the entire family. Williamson County Expo Center was previously known as the East Williamson County Events Center. The Williamson County Expo Center was approved by voters in the 2013 bond election and broke ground on September 25, 2015. With easy access to SH 79, SH 95, and Chandler Road, Williamson County’s new Expo Center is the smart choice for your event needs!
